We stand behind the material with a simple promise: pass your first try, or it's free. Do all the prep in your Exam Pass Kit, sit the real CSLB exam, and if you don't pass, submit your results — we start your refund within 24 hours, no questions asked. The policy below covers how that works, what's eligible, and how to claim.
1. The short version
- Pass-or-free guarantee. Finish your prep, take the real CSLB exam, and if you don't pass we refund you in full.
- Refund started within 24 hours of you submitting your exam results, no questions asked.
- One-time payment, no subscriptions. Eligible refunds go back to the original payment method — no "store credit" trickery.
2. How the guarantee works
- Do the prep. Work through the Exam Pass Kit you bought — the AI crash course, the practice questions, and the full-length timed mocks. The guarantee is for people who actually used the product to prepare.
- Sit the real exam. Take your official CSLB exam at PSI for the classification you bought.
- Submit your result. If you didn't pass, send us your official PSI/CSLB score notice (the fail result) for that classification.
- Get refunded. We verify it against your account and start your refund within 24 hours.
3. What's eligible
- Single Exam Pass Kit purchases ($499 per classification).
- The Smartest Pick — All Licenses bundle ($899). Submit the failing result for the classification you sat; the guarantee covers the bundle purchase.
4. What's not eligible
- Requests with no official failing result to submit — you have to actually sit the exam for the guarantee to apply.
- The free California Law & Business Exam Pass Kit. There's nothing to refund — it's free with every account.
- Accounts terminated for cause (e.g., account sharing, scraping, abuse) under our Terms of Service.
- Optional add-ons (the one-time Exam Pack upgrade) are not covered by the pass-or-free guarantee.
5. How to claim
- Sign in and open the refund portal. It already has your purchase and account details — pick which purchase to refund.
- Upload your official PSI/CSLB result showing you didn't pass (a screenshot or PDF), and add any note.
- We verify against our records and start your refund within 24 hours.

6. How refunds are processed
- Refunds are issued by Stripe to your original payment method. We don't issue refunds to a different card or by check.
- Once started, Stripe typically returns the funds in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- When a refund is issued, access to the refunded Exam Pass Kit (and any bundle entitlements it granted) is revoked.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. The pass-or-free guarantee means we can almost always solve it faster than a chargeback case, and we share your transaction history with Stripe to contest disputes opened in bad faith. Filing a chargeback after consuming the product is grounds for permanent account termination under our Terms of Service, with no further refund obligation on our part.
8. Edge cases
- Bought twice by accident. Email us — we'll refund the duplicate, no exam result required.
- Bought the wrong classification. Email us before you sit the exam and we'll sort it out — refund and rebuy, or credit toward the Smartest Pick — All Licenses bundle.
- Outage prevented you from studying. Email us. We'll extend your access window or refund, your choice.
- Something else. Email us. Really. We're a small team and we'd rather hear about it than miss the chance to fix it.
